Welcome to Plantago Garden Services. By booking or using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before work begins.

1. General Information

 

Plantago Garden Services provides garden maintenance, planting, and related soft landscaping services to domestic and commercial clients.
We take pride in delivering reliable, high-quality work, and ask that clients help ensure safe and efficient working conditions.

2. Client Responsibilities

​

  • It is the client’s responsibility to inform Plantago Garden Services of any existing issues that could affect the safety or success of our work. This includes but is not limited to:

    • Rotting or unstable planters, decking, fencing, sheds, or other garden structures.

    • Damaged paving, uneven ground, or any other potential hazards.

  • Plantago Garden Services cannot be held liable for any damage or breakages that occur as a result of pre-existing weaknesses or faults in materials, structures, or surfaces.

  • Clients must ensure clear and safe access to the work area, including removal of obstacles, waste, or pet mess, prior to our arrival.

3. Liability

​

  • While we take every care to work safely and responsibly, Plantago Garden Services accepts no responsibility for accidental damage caused by:

    • Defective, unstable, or rotted materials.

    • Underground utilities, pipes, or cables not clearly identified or disclosed before work begins.

  • We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including delays caused by weather, supplier issues, or other circumstances beyond our control.

  • Clients are advised to have suitable home or business insurance that covers garden work and maintenance.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

​

  • We understand that plans can change. However, due to scheduling commitments:

    • Cancellations made within 72 hours of the agreed appointment time may incur a fee of up to 50% of the quoted or minimum service charge.

    • Missed appointments (where we arrive and cannot access the property or carry out the work) will also be subject to this fee.

  • Cancellations or rescheduling must be confirmed via phone, text, or email.

5. Quotes and Payments

​

  • All quotes are provided in good faith and based on the information available at the time.

  • Any additional work required or requested after the quote is given may be subject to extra charges, which will be agreed before proceeding.

  • Payment is due within 7 days of receiving an invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Late payments may incur interest or administration fees.

6. Weather and Safety

​

  • In cases of extreme weather (such as heavy rain, snow, or high winds), we reserve the right to postpone work for safety reasons.

  • We will always aim to reschedule as soon as possible at a mutually convenient time.

7. Waste Removal

​

  • Unless specifically stated in the quote, waste removal is not included in standard maintenance work.

  • We can arrange green waste or debris removal for an additional fee if required. If the green waste produced is more than a green bin on site can handle then the charge will apply to any additional bags that require to be removed.

8. Privacy and Communication

​

  • Any personal information provided will only be used for scheduling, invoicing, and communication related to our services.

  • We do not share or sell client details to third parties.

​

9. Acceptance of Terms

​

By engaging Plantago Garden Services, the client acknowledges they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
